R3P3D8 Rested

Round 3 Phase 3 Day 8
LIW: 161.4 04.02.08
Yesterday's Wt: 163.0
Today's Wt: 163.4
0.4 lbs GAIN from yesterday
2.0 lb OVER LIW

I slept in this morning till about 6:30. I tried to sleep a bit longer but my cats were hovering and all making noise in my bathroom. I got up, went to empty my bladder and weighed myself. I usually wait about 10-15 minutes from when I get up to weigh but I figured it was later in the morning than my usual weigh ins. I'm exactly 2 lbs. over LIW. No sweat. I decided I wanted to go walk the track at the school. I started getting dressed and saw all my cats sitting right outside my bedroom door as if they were waiting for me to do something miraculous. It just seemed strange and I knew they had food cause I saw my daughter feed them as soon as she got home yesterday. So I realized that they probably didn't have any water. I went to the kitchen and Babe, the oldest, ran over to the water dispenser, as if to show me that it was completely empty. I picked it up and they are all swarming me. I put some water down for them and Babe hogs the whole bowl. Poor DeeDee, my female was not allowed access, so I got another bowl and put it down for her. She finally drank some and left. I got my coffee maker ready so that when I returned, all I had to do was turn it on. I went to Wal*Mart to get my usual Saturday reading material and pick up some Mexican squash. These suckers were huge!!! They must have weighed a pound each. Luckily a competitor had them on sale for 69 cents a pound. After I left Wal*Mart, I drove to the track, groceries and all. The weather turned on us last night and it was 43 degrees when I got up, so I figured the groceries would be fine during my 30 minute walk. I got there about 7:45 and there were women already there. I had my mp3 player with me so that helps break up the monotony of walking in circles. I walked for about 40 minutes, the problem was that the sprinklers kept going on. That's fine if it were 80 degrees out, but it wasn't. I was wearing warm ups and a hoodie so it wasn't that bad. I got home and got my coffee started. I bought my daughter some bagels and strawberry cream cheese. I made myself some eggs for breakfast.

After work yesterday, I came straight home and took a nap. I could have slept longer except the kids next door and the ones that live directly behind me, came home from school and were playing outside. They were being a bit noisy so I gave up trying to sleep anymore. My daughter didn't get home till a bit after 6 and she was mad. I asked her what was wrong and she just said, "Joe". I find this boy to be a real jerk but she likes him and she will just have to learn on her own. I try to tell her what to expect but she just blows me off, but I know she hears my voice in the back of her head when he acts like that. I asked her if she wanted pork chops and she said no!! After about 15 minutes, she said, I think I want pork chops now. So off to the kitchen I go. I didn't realize how hot I had the pan until both smoke detectors went off, ooops!! Oh, well, happens everytime. We ate around 7:30 and I went to bed at 10.

Oh, I went a little crazy with my menu yesterday, so that explains the gain.

Yesterday's Menu:
B: macadamian nuts, 1 Lemon Zest Luna Bar, coffee
L: Wendy's chicken Caesar salad w/croutons and dressing, South Beach Living garlic Parmesan chicken w/whole wheat penne pasta
S: pepperoni pizza w/o crust, black olives and pickled jalapenos
D: pork chop w/spicy hickory rub, cup of coffee

Biz, yes, I feel like a meth addict now except mine is HCG. I agree with the sleep quality while on HCG is much better and restful. I'm getting a bit too comfortable with P3 because I'm going to get used to grazing and when I restart P2, that has got to stop.

Becca, I slept in today so I feel better plus my nap yesterday helped. In order for me to get 8 hours of sleep, I would have to go to bed at 7pm and that is just crazy!! I got to get back to HCG soon!!

B, yes, maintaining is the hardest part of this game!! Yes, he's 12 and a pain in the ass now. I love him but he's become very demanding for attention. I guess he feels left out in a way because of the other cats but he should be used it by now, I've always had multiple cats since he's been around. Since we moved into this house almost 4 years ago, I do not allow him to go outside like he did at our old house, so he's a bit disgruntled about that. I'm a sucker for bringing home strays.

Thanks to everyone for the encouragement!!
