I'm Sore But It's Worth It

Round 4 Phase 2 Day 9 VLCD 8
0.9ml (150iu) HCG IM injection #8
Starting Weight on 08.18.07: 197lbs
R3 LIW: 161.4
Starting R4 Wt: 161.8
Yesterday's Wt: 155.2
Today's Wt: 157.0
1.8 lb GAIN from yesterday

I'm hoping that this gain is attributed to water retention from all the soreness I had yesterdayand the fact that I had to weigh in so early. I had gone jogging yesterday and got home to fix my plumbing problem. I must say, I surprised myself. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be except that I sorta flooded the bathroom. I thought that I had shut the water off to that connection but it turns out that that was the main inlet for the cold water so I had to run outside and turn the main water valve off. Then it turns out I had the wrong faucet so I had to go back and exchange it for the right one. Once I connected the copper tubing for the air conditioner, I got on the roof and adjusted the float, we were in air conditioned city. After all that we didn't need to turn the air on at all because it was breezy and not so hot. Today will be a different story since we should reach the mid 90's. My daughter was no help, all I wanted her to do was turn the switch from low to high and she acted like it was torture. So I had to keep climbing up and down the ladder. I really hate coming down especially and my legs were sore from jogging earlier so that didn't help. I grilled a couple of ribeyes and some smoked sausages for us. That was all I had to eat yesterday, bad, bad girl. My daughter told me I couldn't have that but I said "oh, well". I did 3 loads of laundry and my dryer was just not cooperating. I went to bed exhausted!!

Today's mission: replace the garbage disposal!!

Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee w/half & half, Splenda, 4 oz. Light N Fit yogurt
L: ribeye steak and 1 smoked sausage w/mustard
D: few bites of a pear, wasn't very good

Jan, as a single mother on a very limited income, I needed to learn to do things for myself. It only cost me $12.00 to fix that faucet, how much would a plumber charge me? Too much!! The guy at Home Depot was very helpful so he made me feel like I could do it and I did, whoo hoo!!!

Becca, it's all catching up to me now but do I learn, NOOO!! I guess she figured I wasn't going to go but I knew I had to because of this critical age she's at. Luckily her male friends scolded her too for not going.

Biz, I just can't get my head straight during this round but I'm determined to finish it, I may have to take a longer break between this round and the next. It just dawned on me that in August, it will be a year since I started the protocol and I should have already reached my goal before hitting this one year anniversary. I'm kicking myself now!!!

Hey Mary, I've just been catching up on you. What a week you've had! 3 Donuts & a loss huh?! Hmph... you know, I did that once too. Well, it was 1 donut & I was amazed that I lost too. It scared me straight though. I know you can get out of this deviation run. Make a game out of it and see how many days you can go without a deviation. The longest I've got is 8 so far. I'm going for 10 next time. Come on girl... join me! I start P3 this week, but I can still play!

Oh sweetie, I went thru that whole wanted to be done in a year thing a few weeks ago. But JPS reminded me how much better I am a year later and I got my head back into the game.

You are doing well, just hold on a little longer.
