Since I didn't have time to post yesterday, I'm posting it all today. Friday night proved to be exhausting. I was bowling against the male bowler I have a crush on. I bowled for crap because of it and he bowled a 300!! Anyway, I had to get up extra early on Saturday (4am) to get to work by 5am. I got home exhausted and just made dinner for myself and my daughter, we watched some tv and I went to bed last night at 8:30pm. I woke up this morning at 6:30. Ten hours of sleep, not bad eh? When I get on the scale and what to my surprise?! A gain!! Not a huge gain but I did check my fingers and my ring did fit a little snug and it hasn't felt like that the last few days. What that tells me is that I either had too much sodium yesterday and/or TOM is lurking. I'm sure its both reasons because TOM didn't really visit last month and has decided to rear his ugly ass head for the month of April. I'm sure the HCG had something to do with that as well because I didn't want to wait till after TOM to begin Phase 2.

Since I got up early this morning, I went ahead and headed out to Wal-Mart to get some groceries. I remembered that they had some Steamers veggies on sale for a buck so I picked up some broccoli, another big box of Tilapia fillets and today's paper. I really like Tilapia fish, it defrosts quickly (individually wrapped) and cooks just as fast. My daughter enjoys it so that's a big plus too!! Unrelated completely, I saw a cardinal outside our window this morning, that is a rarity around here in the desert.

Since I've dropped close to 10 pounds already, my back and right knee are ever so grateful. I started to miss days from work because as soon as I got up and started getting ready, my back would stiffen up to the point where I couldn't bend over to get my pants on!! Then I get to work and sit for a while, again, when I would have to get up, the pain would greet me first. But now, the pain has diminished about 70%, I still feel a bit of stiffness, especially when I lay in bed too long. My knee is not hurting as much after bowling as well.

Wendy's chicken Ceasar salad, no dressing, water to drink
Dinner:
Tilapia fillet, melba toast, water to drink, Healthy Harvest applesauce w/cinnamon & stevia

Monica and Biz: Thanks for continuing to check in on me, it means so much to me!!! Let's see if I can behave this weekend!!

I saw those veggie steamers in the walmart paper too... I think I have a 50 cent coupon for that :)

I'm glad your body is starting to feel better. It'll probably get even better as you progress too. Are you seeing a chiropractor for that? That's what helped me.

I'm sure that gain is because of TOM. Sounds like you didn't do badly yesterday at all.
