I must confess that when I arrived home from work yesterday and my Albertson's store trips, I got on the scale. Oh, it was a beautiful number, 159.6. I was yes, finally broke out of this decade and went into a new one, but sadly this morning it was 160. That was a bit disappointing but maybe the coconut oil was a bit too soon I must have jumped the gun yesterday and became overzealous because I made myself an omelet for dinner and put a little bit of coconut oil in with them, just so they wouldn't stick to the "non-stick" pan. That was the only thing I did differently yesterday. No extra Melba or WASA. I had a class today for work and learned a bit more about identity theft. After work, I stopped by Albertson's to redeem my free Monopoly pieces and get their new monthly ad. Nothing exciting but for this week they have the petite steaks BOG2 FREE. Love that deal. It looks good but I'm probably paying more for that meat that anywhere else. Anyway, that's all I bought since I really didn't want to go in there in the first place but it was pretty empty. Another store opened a new store at a new location so everyone was there. I'm not kidding you. This store is in a large shopping center and I have never seen the entire parking lot completely full and there were still lines on the gateway to get into the parking lot. People were even parking on the median on the gateway to get in this store. They were having a sweepstakes but it didn't look worth it to me. Sure it's a free truck but to fight with over thousands of people just to get it? Not worth it. I drove by on the freeway, mind you. They were having some grand opening specials but I'll just go to the other location or price match at Wal*Mart. That new location is out of my way anyway. So now I'm debating what to have for dinner since I'm already feeling a bit hungry. I don't think it's immunity just to very close proximity of TOM and the normal cravings that come with that. I'm debating whether on having a steak or another omelet. Oh, the reason I like the petite steaks from Albertson's is because they are the perfect size. They weight exactly 100 grams raw and most of the fat is already trimmed off. Perfect!! I also want to experiment with my eggs too. A while back I had written that I had "prepared" them with mineral oil to preserve them without refrigeration, so that's what I want to try today, to see how they are doing. So I sit here and ponder what to eat. Wish me luck.
