Well, I decided to play hooky from work today (bad, bad girl). TOM decided to show up while I was at work yesterday, which explains why I was so crabby. After dinner yesterday, I had horrible carb and salt cravings. So instead of doing my Callahan techniques, I gave in. I ate some vinegar and salt chips with hot sauce and finished a bag of melba rounds I had left, about 10-12 rounds. I did this after I avoided all temptation at work. There were 2 huge pecan pies in the breakroom while I was eating my sad lunch. I stayed away but then I get home and do this. I even avoided the Krispy Kreme donuts on Tuesday that were brought and put in MY work area. I felt full after I ate the melba rounds and then guilt set in later. I'm happy to see only a .2 gain but still that is no reason for doing what I did. I'll just blame TOM!! I'll give myself the injection today so I may skip tomorrow since that will be my heaviest day. We'll just have to wait and see.

I was reading my blog archive from 10.24.07 the day I received my new digital scale. I remember weighing myself and it told me 175.4. I thought "what the fu**!!" I hated that scale that evening and hugged my old scale for at least lying to me and making me feel better. Ha, who's fooling who? Then my daughter decided she wanted to weigh herself on the new scale and it read 97.something. I told her I hated her. I was just playing. Poor thing, she's only 4"11", and the doctor told her she would grow no taller than that. How sad. I can feel her pain since I'm only 5"00". Wow, a whole inch taller than her! So that's why I'm working on getting my weight down. My frame is so small and this weight is literally holding me down. My daughter has noticed my weight loss but is tired of me constantly telling her how much I've lost. Which reminds me, on Thanksgiving Day, I saw many of my family members from my mother's side, who haven't seen for a long while, and no one noticed!! I guess since I was wearing my Thanksgiving attire, of huge warm-ups (which fit very baggy now), a black shirt (form fitting and slimming), and still no one noticed. I wore the warm-ups because I knew I would be loading and needed room for my tummy to expand. Oh, well, I know what the scale says and how much better I feel so no biggie. Now for Christmas, they better notice or I'm disowning all of them!! Just kidding, bless their hearts!!

Not too bad, and that's because I had cauliflower again yesterday. TOM is knocking at my back door and taking its time. I'm extra crabby today and I feel sorry for the guys at work since they have to put up with me. At least the weekend is almost here and we are expecting rain, lots of it. Last week we had snow which is very rare and now rain.

Breakfast: black coffee w/chocolate raspberry stevia
Lunch: chicken and steamed cauliflower, snack size orange
Dinner: shrimp and cabbage soup

R2P2 Day 7 Lost 1.6 lbs

Well, lookie there, I had the cauliflower yesterday for lunch and it didn't seem to affect me negatively.

I need to bring up the point that Dr. S. specified in his manuscript about set weight points, which is where I'm headed for. When I became pregnant 14 years ago, I weighed 130 lbs. The weekend I became pregnant, I shot up 10 lbs, is that possible? Well, I continued to gain and gain throughout my pregnancy and was up to 176 when I was 9 months pregers. After I had the baby I was hoping to see a huge drop but she weighed 6 lbs 14 oz. and that's all I lost. So I weighed 170 for many years then slowly began to creep up. The whole point for me bringing this up is because when I get to 170 (very shortly, I hope) I may stay there for a while. We'll just have to play it by ear.

I had to weigh myself very early this morning since I had to be at work at 5:30am. I'm kind of hoping it would be more but 1.2 lbs is still very good, a loss is a loss, right? My work schedule changed from the last time I did the protocol so let's see how this is going to work. I was home yesterday but today its back to the old grind.


Breakfast: black coffee w/stevia
Lunch: sirloin, fresh cauliflower and an orange
Dinner: chicken and cabbage soup w/a splash of ACV (different and kinda delish)

Now, I know cauliflower is not allowed on the protocol but last week I had bought a huge bunch, since it was on sale, and I forgot about it. I was looking through the fridge to see what protocol vegetables were in there and I discovered the cauliflower. I will experiment to see if it stalls my weight loss or helps it. Trial and error for me.

Ok, ok, I did a 4 day load, my bad anyway, my LIW is not accurate of course since I switch scales. Anyway I continued to cheat yesterday because my daughter was still home. Let's see if I can do better today.

Lunch: beef and cabbage soup, lots of spices for flavor, granny smith apple w/sprinkled cinnamon
Dinner: chicken and cabbage soup, small orange

I have to go to bed early since I was on vacation today and tomorrow I go back to work. I need to work on my food schedule for work.

Ok, yesterday I didn't weigh myself on my digital scale. I used my old scale. This morning I remembered that I told myself on my first round that I would use my digital scale. I bought it late in the game. So this is my true weight as of today. I took my injection this morning. I'll eat today or shall I say feast today as well. I don't want to do a true load because this will be a short round so I can finish by Christmas!!

R2P2 Day 1 Thanksgiving

Wow, I said to myself I would do a heavy loading, but this morning I got up at 5:30 and made some coffee and had a croissantwich. I went to Wal*Mart to pick up some items I had forgotten. Later, I had 4 fried eggs over easy, spam and 4 pieces of toast. Dinner, of course, consisted of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, my homemade cranberry sauce, vegetables, biscuits, salsa, tostadas, and some pumpkin pie with coffee. Man was I stuffed.

I'm a little upset because my friend Fernando stopped by my aunt's house to pick up some cranberry sauce and he was with his ex Joann. They're always breaking up and getting back together. I don't know what the deal is there. Well, I brought home plenty of leftovers for tomorrow!! I still need to make my darn good chocolate cake and a sweet potato pie!!!

Ate my dinner late so my weight is the same. I had to do the mailrun at work and had to take a vehicle to the radioshop. While I was there, they invited me or I invited myself to partake in their Thanksgiving luncheon. I felt uncomfortable but I ate anyway.

Lunch: ham, beans, queso with tostadas, fresh broccoli, snap peas

I think my weight fluctuates so badly because of the times I have to weigh myself. Since the weekends I can sleep in, I weigh myself later than during the week. I have to weigh myself at 4 am during the week and at 7am on the weekends.

Dinner: cottage cheese w/pineapple and cinnamon, a touch of stevia (7pm)

I'm not to worried if I go a little more over my LIW since Phase 2 will be starting very soon!!! Not much to post today just kinda draggin' this morning. After my daughter awoke she complained of feeling dizzy, then I started to feel the same. We blame the fact that we ate fast food the day before. We had not eaten fast food for some time now. I haven't had fast food since August and she hasn't had it since late September. I believe our bodies had detoxed and now we polluted them again. I will stick to salads.

Didn't get a chance to update yesterday since my daughter hogged the computer and I needed to clean around here. Not much has happened. I did go to Sam's yesterday to buy canned fruit and cottage cheese. I can't seem to get enough cottage cheese for some reason. The only thing I can think of is my body needs calcium. I don't crave milk just cottage cheese. Strange. I bought a rotisserie chicken also along with my avocados.

Breakfast: Ruffles w/hot sauce, omelet w/sausage and onions

Last night I made sure to finish eating before 6pm since I had to go to bed at 9pm. Weighed myself this morning and the scale crept up to 174. Must be all those fun sized candy bars I was cheating with and the donut, duh! Tomorrow will be my 3rd week of Phase 3. If my calculations are correct I can start Phase 2 again on Thanksgiving and do a 23 day (short phase) and be done before Christmas so I can be on Phase 3 again by then. Hopefully it will work out that way.

Breakfast: None, a venti Bold with cream and Splenda from Starbucks

Ok, I know it looks like I have gained 2 lbs. but in reality, my work schedule changed twice this week which has caused me to weigh myself earlier and earlier. I weighed myself today at 3:45AM. I'm having to adjust my body and meal times so my weight will be off for a while. I also cheated the last couple of days with fun sized candy bars and donuts.

Breakfast: a cake donut from Southern Maid
Lunch: chicken strips w/Provolone cheese and Laughing cow cheese wedge (2)
Dinner: mixed greens salad with chicken strips, avocado and bleu cheese dressing
