I found a website yesterday, geodistance, that helps me configure my walking distance. I'm actually walking about 1.5 miles in 30 minutes. That's pretty good. My shins are feeling a bit sore but not too bad. I'm hoping that the weight gain is muscle as everyone is telling me and that I'm not eating all my calories burned. I have been feeling a bit hungrier since starting my walking regime. I walked yesterday during my lunch hour because they said the weather was going to be very hot and windy. There is a park surrounding the station with a walking path, who knew?! I walked it for about 30 minutes. It was really nice because it has small inclines.

Yesterday's Menu:
B: macadamia nuts and almonds, coffee
L: South Beach Living meatloaf w/mushroom gravy and green beans
S: pork rinds w/hot sauce
D: 4 mini homemade 1" cheeseburger patties (Mont Jack cheese) and sauteed Mexican squash and onions in butter

Lili, I hope not but I will look for another one.

Biz, I was so close to throwing it against the wall but I didn't. I need to buy some dandelion tea, there's a new health store that opened up on our side of town and I was told yesterday that they carry it so I will have to make a trip over there.

B, oh, I hope I can find a new decent one, I hate getting on them at the store.

Becca, I'm trying really hard to keep up with the walking, its just getting hot here very quickly!!

Hey Mary, were you the one that did a planned interruption before the 21 days was up? If you were, tell me how it went? Did it work out for you?

I know I don't have to remind you of this girl, but anything prepackaged is loaded with sodium, and as long as you keep eating that stuff, it's gonna make you retain water.

I know what you mean about the hot weather. It gets too hot to walk here too. We are getting 90 degree weather now so here we go again! I just try to go as early as I can.
Keep it up and you'll do great!
