R3P2D13 No Apple Day For Me Thank You!!

Wow, I really wasn't expecting that. I had told myself yesterday how great it would be to skip 167 and just go straight into 166, and it happened. (Note to self: Must talk to myself more often.) I slept great last night and even slept in this morning until 7:30am!! I wanted to get up early and go grocery shopping before everyone else did as well, but I didn't get out the door till after 8:00am. I still managed to get to Wal*Mart and get some strawberries, ginger and other miscellaneous items.

Well, I got my refund yesterday, woo frickin' hoo!! I left early from work cause I was feeling ill, (that money was burning a hole in my hand!!) and I went to Sam's to purchase beef, ground and eye of round, rotisserie chicken (yum), frozen strawberries, lemons. Now I'm still on the fence about the protein powders and shakes. I saw a huge pouch of the EAS whey protein and was debating whether or not to buy it for those days that I'm not hungry but just want to get my protein in. I know it sounds weird but sometimes there are those days when you just don't feel like cooking or nothing sounds interesting. I have always loved food, obviously, but there are those rare days that one just doesn't feel like doing anything including eating. So, anyway, I figured I would research a bit more and ask the vegetarians on the board if that was even the right brand, plus its about $30.00 for that pouch but it is huge!! It comes in vanilla or chocolate and that was another decision as well. I went to Albertson's as well to get a few things (few they were) and was hoping to run into Coca Cola hunk since it was about the same time that I was there Monday. No such luck.

I got home around noon and I was starving. I quickly got some mixed greens out of the fridge and pulled some breast meat off that rotisserie chicken without the skin. I added a few grape tomatoes and dijon ACV dressing. It was good. At around 3pm I was feeling a bit hungry so I pulled off a bit more of the chicken breast and munched on that with lots of water. That helped. After my daughter got home around 5, I indulged in a skinless thigh, mmmmm. I wanted to eat a bit early because I knew I would be going to bed early!! I finally went to bed around 9pm. Well, now I need to figure out what I am going to do today. I definately need to water my palm trees and rose bushes, they have been terribly neglected this winter and the weather here is gorgeous today (69 degrees) and tomorrow will be the same.

Yesterday's Menu:
B: 16 oz. coffee w/milk & Splenda, 2-12oz. black coffee
L: 1 skinless rotisserie chicken breast on mixed greens salad & 6 grape tomatoes, Dijon ACV dressing
S: 1 skinless rotisserie chicken breast tender
D: 1 skinless rotisserie chicken thigh

Biz, yes it was a small loss and it is amazing how quickly I forgot about those chocolates, I guess since they were the miniature size, I just forgot, doh!!
Lili, I would have posted them but I had just plain forgotten about them until I went to get some water and realized I was reaching into the candy dish to get one. I stopped myself and yelled at myself what the hell was I doing, then it dawned on me that I had done that over the last few days, damn Valentine's!! So yes, I finally did report it.
Jennay, yes, I just couldn't figure out was was going on, as I explained to Lili, I finally caught myself just the other day. Yes, my refund came in yesterday and I bought me some BEEF!!! I didn't find that hunk of a man so I guess the beef will have to do!! And you are right, if you beat me or spank me, I WILL like it!! Of course, buddy boy may just get turned on watching so we best behave!! In regards to upping the protein, there is this huge discussion on the "other" board about upping protein when you hit a stall and that seems to have helped. It has worked for me, so I'm sticking to it!! If I remember tomorrow, I'll go into a bit more detail on my posting.

Mary Loo!! Look at you! :) Wow girl. I am testing this idea (Biz inspired me)But I have noticed that if my protein intake is over 60 grams a day I lose like a mad woman. So I snack on meat instead of fruits. I do eat the fruit because I do not want to go into "atkins" type ketosis and I do not want my body to go into shock when I add sugars and carbs back in.
Anywho good girl! :)So happy for ya. :)

Yea!! Great loss!!

I didn't "get mad" at you about the chocolates, I was just pointing it out. I know about that mindless eating thing... it's amazing how easy it is to do. Great job!
