First let me tell you of the horrific headache I had yesterday, just horrible. I finally took something for it, a generic Excedrin type tablet. Then to top it all off, after updating my blog, I went to catch up on soaps that I record (yes, I still use a VCR), and the tapes have not been recording the channel I requested. I about threw that VCR out the window but it has a DVD player as well, so it stays. The power had gone out a few months ago (yes that's how far behind I am) and I set everything the same. I tested it and it continued to record channel 3, I about kicked the shit out of it. I finally unplugged it and reset everything again. Finally, it recorded what I wanted. So now I'm so far behind that when I watch this tape, I am going to be soooooo lost!!
I guess this title should have been for yesterday and not today. Ok, I got up early this morning cause I'm feeling crappy!! My throat is in pain and I have lots of post nasal drip adding to the problem. I started taking lots of vitamin C yesterday to flush it and it helped tremendously but I still feel a bit of soreness in my throat. I weighed myself early and the scale said the same weight from yesterday. That's ok by me. I decided to head out grocery shopping and went to Wal*Mart. I decided I was finally going to purchase some appetizer tongs that I had been eyeing for some time now and when I got to their spot, they were all gone and marked for clearance!!! Erggggghhh!!! So, I drove to another Wally store and they didn't have any, I drove to yet another and they didn't have any either, DAMMIT!! Oh, well, guess I just wasn't meant to have them. I bought more strawberries since a competitor has them for $1.99 a pound. I bought some yogurt for my daughter since yesterday, I made her a smoothie and she absolutely loved it!! So I bought some more yogurt and strawberry nectar juice to make her some more. She even said that she felt full after drinking it, that was amazing since she's a bottomless pit when it comes to eating and skinny no less!! I also got me some boycut undies that I have wanted for some time. I only got 1 package since I'm hoping to be a much smaller size very soon!!!! When I got home from all that running around, I got on the scale and it said 165.8, guess that just proves all that running around burned some calories, eh? I was brave as well this morning and took measurements but didn't see much of a difference.
Waist: 38" compared to 39" on 12.16.07
Hips: 43" compared to 44" on 12.16.07
Thighs: no change in my right(24") but my left is 24" compared to 24.5" on 12.16.07
Arms: have grown Rt: 13.5" compared to 13" Left: 14" compared to 13 on 12.16.07 (Weird)
Chest: no change still 38"
Bust: 43" compared to 44" on 12.16.07
I still belong to the "other" group because I like to read the bullshit they come up with to justify their deviations and such. One poster stated that she had stalled out for over 2 weeks at 180 something and was just at the end of her rope. She decided to up her protein by 100 or 200 grams per day and that finally broke her stall. Some posters were saying that they had done apple days and it didn't help them at all or they would gain back the little that they lost. So protein days are all the rage now for breaking a stall. Works for me, I would much rather do a protein day than an apple day anytime!! What kills me is the posters that state they cheated one day and so they are going to do an apple day to undo the damage. Can we say, "WRONG!" That is not what an apple day is for but to save face I don't post anything and just move on to the next crazy idea being thrown out. Well, that's all I've got so far, I'm finally drinking my coffee for this morning since I got home after 9 from all that crazy hunting at Wallyworld!!
Yesterday's Menu:
B: coffee w/milk & splenda
L: skinless rotisserie chicken breast on a salad of spring mix greens, dijon ACV dressing, 6 grape tomatoes
D: ??? grams of eye of round, forgot to weigh it before throwing it on the grill, 1 huge green onion
The eye of round may have been a bit much and I did eat it around 6pm, not sure if that accounts for no loss today, but it is just fine by me, I finally passed my LIW!!
Crystal, yes isn't great that we found something that can help us tremendously and we can actually enjoy eating more protein rather that those crappy apple days, or is it crabby? thanks for stopping by, I know you are busy with school and all but I appreciate it, and keep up the good work yourself missy!!
Jennay, yes we are sick aren't we? Yes, I was wondering where that 2 pounder came from as well but I'll take it girlfriend!! Loved both videos my friend!!
Biz, yes, I forgot to throw that in, I was just so excited that I forgot to write about that, maybe I should retitle yesterday's post, hmmm.
Lili, oh I'm sure you weren't mad at me since I forgot all about them chocolates!! I would have posted them on my menu but I completely forgot about them, hope you're feeling better but I think your blog is carrying your illness because now I'm feeling icky!!! Just kidding!!

Ohhhh, I'm so sorry you're getting a virus -- yes, it must have traveled through the cyberworld, my flu mojo has now caught hold of you! I'm feeling much better myself.
Interesting about the protein - I have never had an official stall -- every once in awhile, on a day after I've had a larger-than-normal loss, I'll get really hungry, and I do eat a bit of extra protein. I don't know what and "apple day" would do to my bloodsugar....
